Some weeks make it really hard to get a blog out. Even when I have projects photographed and ready to go sometimes life just doesn't leave time for me to post it all up here, so I've been a little behind in my blogging lately.
This week between picking up some extra hours at work and also not feeling well it just hasn't happened. But I didn't want to leave you with nothing for the end of the week so I have some links to other interesting things I've found that I can share with you.

The first one is Sachiko's blog Tea Rose Home where she usually writes about her own sewing projects but has a recent blog post about her trip back home to Japan after the devastating earthquake/ tsunami and I think it's worth a read.
Next up we have Gretchen over at Gertie's New Blog for Better Sewing. Now Gertie is always fun to read (I'm willing to give her a giant Pass on all of the gratuitous cat pics (yes, I'm the only one on the internet that isn't a cat lover) because I enjoy reading her posts so much.). Besides her book that has just come out she also has a coat sew-along going on right now. I'd like to make a new coat in the next year so hopefully I can come back to her notes then.

Finally I really enjoyed seeing the photos of the gorgeous silk corset from the late 1800's over at Bridges on the Body.
And because it has been a rough week and we could all use a laugh, here is a silly video. You're welcome and I'm sorry.
